Golden Leaf Health provides menopause care across Florida by video. The first visit is $99 with a clinician licensed in Florida. Membership is $49 a month for follow-up visits and messaging. The model is the same from Tampa Bay, Orlando, Miami, Jacksonville and the Keys.

What happens at a Florida visit

The first visit is a video conversation with a clinician licensed in Florida about your symptoms, history, what you’ve tried and your goals. Three things may follow, each decided together:

  • Testing, only when it would change the plan. Your provider decides at the first visit. If labs are needed, they’re ordered for you with instructions on where to go. Many women start without them.
  • A prescription, if treatment is right for you, sent to a pharmacy that can fill it for you in Florida. We use FDA-approved bioidentical estradiol and progesterone products and compounded prescriptions where they fit, and we explain which and why.
  • Follow-ups inside the membership: two to three visits with a doctor to adjust the dose, then text check-ins through HIPAA-compliant messaging. You can message the care team at any time.

Florida telehealth rules require you to be physically in the state at the time of each visit. Snowbirds and part-year residents should book for the months they are here or ask whether we also serve their other state.

Who treats Florida patients

Florida patients see a physician licensed in Florida through Golden Leaf Health, PC. The physician is supported by Dr. Ashley Alexis, ND, Dr. Steve Groke, MD, and Mai Tran, PharmD, the practice’s compounding pharmacist advisor. Golden Leaf Health’s clinicians are licensed in every state we serve, and the prescription on your pharmacy label comes from someone licensed in yours. The About page introduces each of them.

Bioidentical hormone therapy in Tampa Bay

Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Brandon, Westchase and South Tampa have many hormone clinics, including clinics that offer pellet implants. A pellet is a fixed dose for three to four months; it can’t be lowered if it turns out to be too much. Golden Leaf Health uses adjustable dosing in forms your provider can change as your symptoms change. If you’ve been quoted a pellet package, our earlier guide to BHRT in Tampa lists questions to ask any provider.

Menopause specialists for Orlando

Patients in Orlando may face a long wait for a gynecologist. A video visit here focuses on perimenopause and menopause. See our Orlando page.

Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Jacksonville and the rest of Florida

South Florida has many clinics and traffic between you and them. Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Pensacola, Fort Myers, Naples, Sarasota and the Keys may have fewer nearby options. By video, the care, follow-ups and pricing are the same across Florida.
