Menopause care in New York, by video
Menopause and perimenopause treatment across New York State by video: a $99 first visit with a clinician licensed in New York, usually within days, then $49 a month for follow-ups and messaging. NYC, Long Island, Westchester and upstate.
Medically reviewed by Dr. Ashley Alexis, ND,

New York State is two different problems for a woman in perimenopause. In the city, menopause specialists exist and the wait to see one runs months. Upstate, the nearest one may be in another city altogether. Golden Leaf answers both the same way: a $99 video visit with a clinician licensed in New York, usually within days, then $49 a month for the follow-up visits and messaging that turn a first prescription into a plan that fits.
How it works from New York
- Book at start.goldenleafhc.com. You confirm you’ll be in New York for the visit, read the telehealth consent and describe what’s going on.
- The first visit is one-on-one, by video, with a clinician licensed in New York. It covers symptoms, history, lifestyle and what you want to feel like again. Thirty minutes between meetings is enough.
- Labs only when they’d change something. Your provider decides that at the visit. If they’re needed, they’re ordered for you with instructions on where to go.
- Treatment, if it’s right for you. A prescription sent to a pharmacy that can fill it for you in New York, using FDA-approved bioidentical estradiol and progesterone products or, where appropriate, compounded prescriptions. Then two to three follow-up visits with a doctor and text check-ins through HIPAA-compliant messaging, all inside the membership.
The one rule: you must be physically in New York State at the time of each visit. Your clinician’s New York licence is what makes the visit legal.

Menopause treatment in New York City
Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island are where “menopause specialist NYC” searches come from, and the search is harder than it should be in a city with this many doctors. The good ones are booked out, many don’t take insurance either, and a first visit can take an afternoon with travel. A video visit removes the travel, happens this week, and is entirely about perimenopause and menopause. Our earlier guide to menopause specialists in New York City by telemedicine walks through what a video consultation involves.
Long Island, Westchester, Rockland and the Hudson Valley
Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess and up the river: the same clinician and the same follow-up model, without a train into the city or a parking garage. Visits work from home, an office or a parked car with a signal.
Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany and upstate
Upstate is where distance bites. From the Southern Tier, the North Country or the Finger Lakes, a menopause-focused clinician can be hours away and most women never go. By video the care, the follow-ups and the price are identical to what a patient in Manhattan gets.
