Menopause care in Georgia, by video
Menopause and perimenopause treatment for Georgia by video: a $99 first visit with a clinician licensed in Georgia, usually within days, then $49 a month for follow-ups and messaging. Atlanta and every county beyond it.
Medically reviewed by Dr. Ashley Alexis, ND,

Outside metro Atlanta, Georgia has very few clinicians who focus on menopause, and inside it the wait to see one runs months. Golden Leaf closes that gap by video: a $99 first visit with a clinician licensed in Georgia, usually within days, then $49 a month for the follow-up visits and messaging that get a treatment plan right. Where you live in Georgia stops mattering.
What a Georgia patient actually gets
Not a questionnaire and a prescription. The first visit is a real conversation with a clinician about your symptoms, your history, what you’ve already tried and what you want back. From there, three things can follow, each decided with you:
- Labs, only if they would change the plan. Your provider says at the first visit whether testing is needed to start. If it is, they order it and tell you where to have it drawn.
- A prescription, if treatment is right for you, sent to a pharmacy that can fill it for you in Georgia. We use FDA-approved bioidentical estradiol and progesterone products and, where it fits, compounded prescriptions, and we explain which and why.
- Follow-ups that are included. Two to three visits with a doctor to adjust the dose, then text check-ins through HIPAA-compliant messaging. You can message your care team at any time.
Georgia law requires you to be physically in the state during a telehealth visit. That is the only geographic rule; home, office or a parked car all work.
Who you’ll see
Georgia patients are treated through Golden Leaf Health, PC by a physician licensed in Georgia, with the rest of the care team behind him: Dr. Ashley Alexis, ND, Dr. Steve Groke, MD, and Mai Tran, PharmD, the practice’s compounding pharmacist advisor. Golden Leaf’s clinicians are licensed in every state we serve; the prescription on your pharmacy label always comes from someone licensed in yours. Meet them on the About page.
Menopause treatment in Atlanta
Metro Atlanta is where most of our Georgia patients live: Buckhead, Midtown, Decatur, Sandy Springs, Marietta, Alpharetta, Roswell, Johns Creek and the counties around them. The complaint is the same from all of them. Atlanta has outstanding hospital systems, and the wait to see a gynecologist inside one runs months, after which a fifteen-minute visit tends to end with “that’s normal for your age”. A video visit here is about perimenopause and menopause and nothing else, it’s usually available this week, and it comes with follow-ups rather than a single script. Our earlier guide to finding a menopause specialist in Atlanta lists the questions worth asking any provider, us included.
Savannah, Augusta, Macon, Columbus, Athens and south Georgia
Outside the metro the problem isn’t the wait, it’s the distance. A menopause specialist can be a half-day’s drive from Valdosta, Albany or the coast, and most women simply don’t go. Video visits change that arithmetic entirely: the same clinician, the same follow-ups and the same $99 and $49 pricing from Savannah to Dalton.
